I visited Nonni Cafe & Bakery in Toronto’s Entertainment District and really enjoyed the experience. I tried the Halloumi & Spinach Shakshuka, which was flavorful and satisfying with the fresh bread, and the Harvest Bowl, which stood out with its tangy apple vinaigrette and warm asparagus. Both dishes were fresh, colorful, and well balanced. For drinks, Nutella Latte and Halva Pistachio Latte are customers’ favorites, both are on the sweeter side, and the coffee beans lean toward a sour profile The café combines Middle Eastern flavors with modern bakery style, offers house-made bread and pastries, and has a cozy interior with limited seating. There’s also outdoor seating in the summer. It does get busy on weekends, so plan accordingly. Overall: A cozy spot for brunch or coffee, perfect for meeting friends or enjoying some time alone. Average spend is about $25 per person.

My mouth is still watering thinking about the Almond Croissant I just had. My mom and I enjoyed this place so much, she even said “this is the best yogurt parfait I have ever had.” I had the breakfast panuzzo, which was a breakfast sandwich in a folded pizza dough. It had scrambled eggs, thick cut bacon, avocado, arugula, and a spicy mayo sauce. So incredible! 100000% will be back!

My new absolute favorite spot in the area! If you’re looking for the full package—dining, coffee, atmosphere, and genuinely warm service—Nonni is the place. The food is incredibly delicious, always fresh, and has that comforting, homemade feel. The staff are consistently kind, welcoming, and attentive, making every visit a pleasure. Their menu offers a unique selection of items you don’t often find elsewhere—and trust me, you won’t regret trying any of them. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the Halva Pistachio Latte—it’s an absolute dream. I’ve been to Nonni many times, and not once have I been disappointed. I’ll definitely keep coming back for more of their amazing goodies!

Fantastic cafe - ended up being our go-to place for breakfast for our stay in Toronto. Cafe meets bakery with good selection of homemade dishes and baked goods. Efficient and friendly service - easy to order from the tables with a phone. High quality food and also interesting selection of sweet and salty baked goods. Definitely worth a visit - also really good sandwiches for lunch.

We stopped in to this lovely cafe for lunch today and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. My husband and I shared the cheese steak and the short rib sandwiches and a salad and my son had the schnitzel sandwich. Our favourite was the short rib sandwich but all were very flavourful and fresh and the bread that it came on was delicious. We also enjoyed the olives that were served on the side. Seating was a bit limited but we managed to snag a big enough table for the 3 of us.

This place is world class. The food is amazing, the service friendly and non-pretentious, the coffee drinks are made properly. Nonni is hitting on all cylinders. It is the only place I ate at twice while in Toronto. Will definitely be back again in the future.
